Arca de Noé is a French Brazilian association operating in Vila Prudente favela since 2001. We work with children and young people of the favela, providing education and vocational training so that they can have a better future than their parents. Our Mission : To educate and train the most vulnerable individuals, empowering them with the skills and self confidence required to break the cycle of poverty. • Arca do Saber : http://arcadosaber.org/ Daily Center for 120 children and youth from 6 to 15 years old. Objective : Protect children and youth, develop by providing educational activities and support families. Through our activities, we seek to: Reduce incidents due to social vulnerability ; Prevent the emergence, aggravation and a recurrence of social risks ; Improve access to social assistance and social services ; Improve access to social rights ; Improve the quality of life of children, adolescents and their families. • Arca do Crescer : http://arcadocrescer.org/ Established in November 2017, Arca do Crescer is a vocational training and guidance centre for youth and adults in the favela (16+ years old). Objective : provide high quality training courses, designed in partnership with and recognized by potential employers, so that graduates can quickly enter the labour market!
