The Area Stage Company is an award-winning non-profit organization that has become one of South Florida’s most influential companies. With a strong commitment to inclusion, ASC today houses three programs that meet the unique needs of Miami’s diverse demographics. MAINSTAGE: ASC has always placed creative and performance excellence at the forefront of its priorities, producing challenging and entertaining drama. CONSERVATORY - A professional development program that serves some 10,000 students yearly via direct instruction in all aspects of theatre. INCLUSION THEATRE PROJECT - A one-of-a-kind theatre training program for students with developmental and intellectual disabilities. Non-typical actors are cast in professional productions alongside neurotypical actors, making ITP shows truly inclusive.
