Areka Advanced Technologies is an LLC focused on novel products that require a huge and deep understanding of polymers and technical textiles. Main research areas cover nanofibers, air and water filtration, gas filtration, and composites. It was founded in the Istanbul Technical University laboratories and graduated from the «school» in 2014. So far two novel alternatives for nanofiber production were proposed: Namely Aerospinnner™ and NanoCentrino™. Instruments are capable of producing nanofibrous webs having a width of 25-200cm. Aeros-AF™ and Aeros-GF™ are our filter trademarks for the removal of particulate and gaseous contaminants from the air. The core technology depends on nanofibers and photocatalytic applications. ERK™ is our trademark for high-pressure tubes and pressure vessels. The very first filament winding line was installed in 2015 and under operation currently. Besides Greeno™ is the newest brand for the production of green composites. Areka had already accomplished various projects funded by the government and private sector.
