Awakenings is a small arts nonprofit making visible the artistic expression of survivors of sexual violence. We help survivors heal through year round arts programming spanning writing, movement, and art workshops. We also aim to create an audience of advocates and allies to support the survivor work through our public-facing events, such as art exhibit openings, performances, and literary magazine.
