Ballet Magique Entertainment (BME) established in 1999, by Anthony W Johnson and became a full company with late partner Gene Wooley in 2001. With Johnson’s strong and innate creativity combined with his dynamic, and diverse experience, BME is poised to become a household name in the realm of live theatrical entertainment, an industry into which, over the past two decades, several extraordinary companies have emerged. Cirque du Soleil, River Dance, Blue Man Group and a plethora of live musical singers and groups have dominated the live entertainment scene, with annual sales numbering the billions of dollars. Dance, now has recaptured America’s imagination. With television shows such as Dancing with the Stars, So you Think you can Dance, and Glee, dance is as popular now as it was in the days of Gene Kelly, Ginger Rodgers and Fred Astaire. Magic & illusion, has also experienced a sustained regeneration of a like kind. David Copperfield, Criss Angel, David Blaine a sharing the spotlights, awe-inspiring suspension of belief is a very profitable segment of the entertainment industry. Ballet Magique Entertainment harnesses the power of these two resurging forces and combines them into an audience thrilling, seat-packing production that is the basis for our brand. That said, BME based on the level of artistic achievement brought forth by Mr. Johnson and most importantly by stunningly differentiated content of the production, BME is indisputably independent in this field.
