Beacon Insurance Agency of Pace, Inc. was formed in 2009. Our agency specializes in meeting the insurance needs of churches, Christian schools, and other religious organizations. When we say we specialize in this, it truly is all that we do. Unlike other agencies, we do not write homes, personal automobile or policies for other businesses. It is commonplace in our industry for an agent to “copy, quote and pray”. They copy your existing coverage, provide a quote, and pray that they get your business. Since every church is different, we do not feel this is the proper way to insure your church. We look at each church on an individual basis, from initial risk survey to final policy endorsements. We represent many different carriers that have specialty church insurance programs, one of them being GuideOne Insurance. GuideOne happens to be one of the largest carriers in the nation for churches. In 1947 their organization was founded as the nation’s first auto insurer for nondrinkers. After gaining a loyal following among religious leaders, the company developed the first multi-peril insurance policy for churches in 1962. This allows us to be able to offer a package policy that covers the many unique risks of a church. When some carriers may question what a “home group” is, we totally understand the unique risks and challenges that a church encounters. I feel very fortunate that I have been able to represent GuideOne and their church insurance program for more than 16 years. Since our inception, Beacon Insurance has been very blessed. We truly have the best carriers, the best underwriters, and the best customers. Our retention rate is over 98%, and we continue to see growth. In our industry, a typical agency goal is to grow the agency by 10% each year. We are experiencing a much greater growth rate. In 2012 our agency grew by over 18%. We only represent strong financial carriers. All of our carriers have an A rating or better from AM Best.
