Berks Sinfonietta, Inc. was founded in 2014 as Berks County's own chamber orchestra. We are a mentoring ensemble, where local students and professionals collaborate to perform works of excellence. We are committed to expanding our audience's knowledge of and love for classical music. We do so by performing new and unusual masterworks on a regular basis, with a particular focus on music by female and minority composers. Our sixth season runs through June 2020. Program highlights include: Beethoven Symphony No. 6 Mozart's Requiem, completed by living composer Benjamin-Gunnar Cohrs Second annual Black History Month celebration Pieces by Ruth Gipps, Marianne Martinez, and Jessie Montgomery Berks Sinfonietta, Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
