Buttonsmith® Inc designs and manufactures unique, high quality American-made products for personal and business use in Carnation, Washington. Created out of a fourth grade class project on trading in 2013, Henry Burner made pinback buttons to sell to his classmates. That summer he moved to selling the buttons at local farmers markets. In 2014 Henry started selling online via his website and Amazon. The product catalog has grown to include buttons, magnets, lanyards, dog collars & leashes and his patented product Tinker Reels®. Tinker Reels® are badge reels with swappable tops available on Amazon. The patent for Tinker Reels was approved in August 2017. In the Spring of 2017 printed products including business cards, banners, stationery and invitations were added to the product portfolio. Buttonsmith was featured in a Fast Company article in September 2017. Henry was named the the Forbes 2018 30 Under 30 list for Retail and e-Commerce. Buttonsmith is a socially conscious company that promotes values of environmental, social, and economic responsibility. We reduce, reuse, and recycle. We use quality components (including available recycled materials) that are sourced in the USA whenever possible. Buttonsmith is a software company delivering personalized products to people fast through their favorite e-commerce sites.
