CITIBIN designs and manufacturers modern outdoor storage for recycling, waste, packages, strollers, bikes, and more. Made of aluminum and bamboo, CITIBIN is the durable and attractive alternative to wood, plastic, and metal enclosures. The New York Times featured CITIBIN on the cover of the real estate section with the headline "Trash Never Looked So Stylish." CitiBin clients include single-family homeowners to add curb appeal to their property, architects and landscape designers to to conceal the trash eyesore outside of the otherwise lovely spaces they've created, landlords to repel rats and avoid sanitation citations, and coops/condos to better manage their shared trash area. Since building the first CitiBin in 2012, we have experimented with materials and design to create the world's best outdoor enclosure. Extensive thought and testing have gone into every feature. The frame won't warp. The doors won't slam. The screws won't rust. Every feature was designed to be attractive, durable, and user-friendly. Not adjectives that typically describe existing enclosures in the marketplace. In response to demand for CitiBin outside of NYC, we developed a prefab kit that can be shipped anywhere. The CitiBin kit comes with pre-assembled panels and doors, and hardware for you to bolt it together.Or if you're in NYC, we offer installation service.
