We have more than 1,000 full-time employees across 20 different departments and a wide-range of professions. Quality of life: Cabarrus County is located along I-85, just a few minutes north of Charlotte. It is home to more than 200,000 residents and is one of the fastest-growing areas in North Carolina. Our residents are “very satisfied” or “satisfied” with Cabarrus County as a place to raise children (88%); as a place to live (87%); as and as a place to work (75%); and a place to retire (70%).
