Established in 1855, Calvary is located in downtown Columbia, Missouri, next to the University of Missouri campus. The only Episcopal Church in Columbia, Calvary is a progressive, theologically aware, caring, life-changing community of faith, inspired by the person, the presence, and the teaching of Jesus, our Savior. Together, we are Building Community in the Spirit of Jesus. All are welcome! We worship on Sundays at 8:00am (Spoken Rite I) and 10:30am (Choral Rite II), and Wednesdays at 5:30pm (Spoken Rite II with Anointing for Healing). Calvary is a vital, active parish, well-known in the community for its generous ministries of service and charitable giving. Calvary Episcopal Church has been served by eighteen rectors. Our current rector, The Reverend Deborah Rutter joined the congregation in 1995 following the brie.
