The Charleston RiverDogs are a Minor League Baseball team based in Charleston, South Carolina. They are a Class A Affiliate of the New York Yankees (before 2005, they were an Affiliate of the Tampa Bay Devil Rays). Their home stadium is located at Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park near The Citadel. The majority owner is Marvin Goldklang who also owns a stake in five other minor league baseball teams throughout the country (Fort Myers Miracle, Sioux Falls Pheasants, Hudson Valley Renegades, Brockton Rox, and St. Paul Saints). Some key alumni include B.J. Upton, Carl Crawford, Rocco Baldelli, and Delmon Young.
