The Chattahoochee Nature Center in Roswell on the banks of the Chattahoochee River is a wonderful place to spark your spirit of natural discovery. Metro Atlanta's largest nature center is more than just a science center, the Discovery Center serves as the interpretative center for the entire Chattahoochee River. With the only Nature Exchange in the southeast, visit us to discover nature. “Re-Imagine the Chattahoochee” is a film shown to orient visitors to this amazing natural resource we share. The LEED certified “Gold level” Discovery Center Museum houses four distinct and separate areas that explain the intricate web of life that make up the unique watershed of the Chattahoochee River. Take a journey from river to wetland to forest. Walk under a beaver dam; get up close to fish; peer into a frog’s home; make a splash in the “Rivers Flow” water game; meet owls; or test your bird call skills.
