Cherry Drop Records is a New York City based dance music label which specializes in electronic dance music compilations. The company was set-up as a university project in Edinburgh in 2011 and awarded the Young Scot Creative Enterprise Award and funding in December 2012 which provided the financial backing to sign new artists and expand the label. Through our compilations, we have released music from many of the leading dance music artists including Afrojack, Deadmau5, Phunk Investigation, Luca Guerrieri, The Scumfrog, Pitbull, Guru Project, Chuckie, Lucas & Steve, Mauro Picotto among many others. Some of our most notable licensing partners include; Kontor Records, Black Hole Recordings, Tiger Records, Great Stuff, BMG Rights Management, Strictly Rhythm and Balloon Records.
