We harvest, process and transport superior-grade products from our 1,115 family operated farms… to families tables across the US, Canada, Mexico, Africa, England, Europe, Brazil, and Central America. We provide quality service, markets, and products grown in the USA to enhance the value of the cooperative. Cooperative Elevator represents and serves northern Michigan bean and grain farmers. The agricultural cooperative is made up of approximately 900 member/owners. It operates storage facilities and processing plants, offers crop marketing and agronomy services, and provides farm supplies to its members, including seed, feed, fertilizer, herbicides, fuel, and agricultural chemicals. The co-op's bean farmers grow black, red, pinto, and navy beans, which are distributed in bulk throughout the US, as well as in Africa and the Caribbean. Cooperative Elevator's grain farmers produce wheat, soy, corn, barley, and oats and the co-op provides storage and market services such as price updates for these commodities.
