Curbside Compost is a company which supports the recycling effort in Connecticut and New York by diverting food away from waste to energy plants and landfills. We serve homes, offices, restaurants, schools, markets, anywhere there is organic waste, which represents 25% of the waste stream. We design programs as well as make it easy for clients to recycle their food. Compost is delivered back to local gardens and green spaces which builds and conserves healthy soils. We started in 2016 and diverted and composted over 21,000 lbs of organic waste in our first year. The company now moves over 2000 lbs per week of organics and will make a larger impact this year.
