We were customers of other transport companies and we realised that not all transport companies could do what they promised. They sold a one-stop shop service but in fact they brokered work off to other carriers and agents. When we wanted answers about the ‘last mile’, some of these carriers would go to ground, hoping you’d give up waiting on hold or that the freight would turn up tomorrow…sound familiar? And then there were the annual price rises, weekly account fees and ‘miscellaneous charges’…we’ve heard it all before. So we started our own transport business - DOT Express. Deliveries On Time
