Delta International are experts in the inspection, maintenance and demolition of tall industrial structures, including chimneys, cooling towers, flare stacks, silos and pipelines. Delta work predominantly in the European power and refining markets and have some of the largest companies in these sectors as clients. Delta Plc is a maker of lighting poles and crash barriers and also a provider of galvanizing services. Delta PLC doesn't want to be Greek to you. The company operates three businesses: engineered steel, galvanizing services, and manganese materials. Its engineered steel products include road safety barriers and poles for power transmission and distribution, lighting, and telecommunications. Delta also provides hot-dip galvanizing services and galvanized steel products for infrastructure, construction, and mining projects. Its manganese materials division supplies electrolytic manganese dioxide to battery makers, and manganese metal used to manufacture steel, aluminum, and electronic components. About 80% of sales come from the Asia/Pacific region. US rival Valmont purchased Delta in 2010 for $430 million.
