Instead of the typical deposit, the tenant takes out an insurance in the amount of the deposit to be paid and the landlord gets the respective certificate as security. As a consequence, the tenant no longer needs to use his own liquidity which is particularly needed when moving from one place to the other. The landlord receives an easy to administer deposit on first request which he can use with our insurance partner in the case of damages. Only in cases where the deposit has to be actually used, tenants are responsible for recourse and have to pay. In all other instances tenants continue to be entitled to free use of the deposited amount.
