Die Bürger Charlottenburgs wagten 1912 eine demokratische Kulturreform, als sie die Deutsche Oper Berlin gründeten. When they founded the Deutsche Oper Berlin in 1912, the burghers were pushing for democratic reform of the cultural landscape.
