Downie Allison Downie (DAD) Bookbinders provide a full of bookbinding services and are based in Glasgow, Scotland, UK. We provide a professional and reliable service and pride ourselves on the quality and craftsmanship of our range of products. We offer a wide range of services and work with everything from Library Special Collections, fine binding and restoration, short run design and print, thesis binding, portfolios, visitors books and one off books for individuals and artists. With regards to conservation, we conserve all manner of items including leather, books, velum, maps, pamphlets and create bespoke, made to measure archival boxes. In addition, we also offer library cleaning services. We carry out archival standard cleaning across the length and breadth of the country. Our dedicated team can complete anything from a small scale cleaning project to full library and archive cleaning over an extended period. The focus of our business is on creativity and quality of product, using the diverse skills and experience of our dedicated, highly-trained team. We regularly travel to Edinburgh, London and Manchester collecting and delivering our clients books and orders.
