Under the guidance of artist Sraboni Ghosh (Masters from Rabindra Bharati University), an art school was started in the year 2013. Gradually with a steady response from students and other associates, it has become an Art Academy, affiliated with ‘Sarbabharatiya Sangeet O Sanskriti Parishad’ (SSSP) - Govt. Registered, within a span of 2 next years. Evora Art Academy is located at Barrackpore, Kolkata-700122. - The Academy offers an opportunity for all those who are passionate about art and want to nurture minds to enrich creative thoughts. Our teachers give a sincere effort to cultivate the minds of all age groups. Kids, young and older get chances to discover their artistic potentials as we give them the vital facilities to produce this in reality. Evora Art Academy is invariably trying to dig out fresh talents from every individual. Students, of Evora Art Academy, are exposed to different genres and various forms of art as well as usage of several materials in a range of styles. Visualisation to working drawing & painting, fine arts to contemporary arts, handicrafts to pottery designing and in the commercial stream - typography to poster-making are being guided by specialized faculties. Various mediums of art and paintings like Watercolour, Oil painting, Acrylic painting, Glass painting, Sketch, Lino, application of Mixed Media, innovative Hand Crafts (Conceptualization, Mechanism and Execution) and the abstract concepts are being taught by specialized faculty members.
