Born in 1929, FAMI is a specialist industrial furnishing manufacturer. Through the years, considerable resources and energy have been invested in growing our professional skills, establishing an impressive network of contacts and transforming research and materials into highly functional, innovative and top-quality products. All of our production processes take place in house. Fami is a solid business organization operating from a location of 140 thousand square meters and employs over 400 people. We have four subsidiaries abroad, in Germany, Poland, Austria and Switzerland and our authorized distributor network covers the EMEA area, South East Asia, the Middle East, Latin America and Australia. Fami’s world consists of another brand, Store Van, that studies, designs and manufactures products and fits out commercial vehicles, making use of innovative accessories specially made to measure for all types of vehicles. Fami S.r.l. manufactures metal household furniture. The Company provides cabinets, workbenches, unimod systems, modular trolleys, shelving systems, and boxes and containers. Fami markets its products internationally. Quando nacque, nel 1973 a Guazzino, dal connubio di Fanotti e Micheli, la Fami era una piccola azienda (falegnameria artigiana mobili e infissi). Nel 1977, Palmiero, trovandosi da solo a dirigere la ditta Fami decise di costruire un nuovo laboratorio a Bettole (SI) in via Alfieri, 7. Micheli Palmiero, il fondatore dell'allora omonima azienda, aveva però propositi ambiziosi e il coraggio di portarli avanti con decisione. Dopo cinque anni ci fu l'ampliamento dell'edificio, consentendo all'azienda di raggiungere i 1.000 mq. Nel 1991, Palmiero, decide di cambiare settore lavorativo e di investire in nuove tecnologie che si riveleranno decisive per il futuro e la crescita dell'azienda, cioè dalla produzione di bagni e infissi a quella attuale della lavorazione di semilavorati con fresatrici elettroniche a CN. Nel 1998 con un buon investimento, è stata aggiunta una struttura di 500 mq accanto alla struttura principale sfruttandola da magazzino e deposito materiale.
