The founder of the company, Andrea Fanfani, studied the vast variety of ancient Renaissance decoration techniques during his intense work in some of the most renowned artisan manufactories of Florence. In 1973 his profound knowledge of the Renaissance Art and his outstanding craftsmanship converge in a company that quickly establishes itself on many international markets. Today Andrea is flanked by his sons Marco and Roberto and a team of highly qualified professionals in the creation of unique furniture, custom-designed and made, and followed up all over the world to the final assembly. The company, while maintaining a family management, boasts a structure capable of co-operating world-wide with some of the most advanced professionals in the sector; architects and interior designers alike find valuable support in a large 3D library and a highly competent partner with concrete answers and solutions of a unique style and inventiveness. Each creation is the result of the ancient tradition of Florentine decorations which have found their distinctive feature in the preservation of Beauty. Every single object is conceived and created as a real piece of Art which, starting from an original design, takes shape in the rigorously manual work and high creativity of the company’s master artisans. Exclusively high-quality materials such as solid wood, 24K gold, marbles, natural hard stones or brocade fabrics are used to impress beauty in every single detail. The over 700 items of the Opera and Tornabuoni collections can be made in a wide range of sizes and variations, all available in 60 different finishes and customizable on request in almost all of their aspects.
