Our Mission is to: • to nurture the minds, bodies and hearts • to be pioneers Background FUNdays Holiday Club was established by two experienced primary school teachers. Concerned by the number of hours many children spend in front of a screen each day and fuelled by a passion for children’s health and well being, FUNdays Holiday Club was formed. In 2012, FUNdays Holiday Club became FUNdays Club - a child care provider for after school and holidays. Recognising that all the environments children are exposed to are crucial to their overall well-being and development, FUNdays aspires to redefine the concept of child care. At FUNdays club we: • provide parents with a reliable, low cost and high quality child care service led by qualified teaching professionals • welcome, value, support and celebrate all children • establish a safe, caring community • challenge children to try new things • empower children to realise their own value and potential • strive for all children to enjoy and achieve • base our practise on on-going research • deliver high-quality enrichment sessions • provide a wide range of stimulating, creative educational experiences • give children opportunities to take part in a variety of physical activities • support emotional development, including social skills and positive relationships
