FÜYA Method is an experiential method developed by the artist Damiano Fina since 2004. A pedagogical approach to dance, alchemy and their spiritual origin since the Pleistocene. The method is influenced by Animism, ancient rituals in the Classical Greece, Dogen’s Zen, Body Art and Butoh Dance of the Sixties. FÜYA Method raises keen experiences through the expression of the physical, emotional, spiritual and remote body. For Damiano Fina these four bodies are part of the Alchemical Body. Damiano Fina is a ritual dancer based in Italy. In 2018 he published the book "The Dance of Eros and Thanatos for a Queer Pedagogy" and in 2020 he published the book "FÜYA Method: dance and alchemy".
