Faculty of Engineering in Kragujevac belongs to the group of the most prominent scientific and educational institutions in the field of technical sciences in Serbia. Scientific-research activities are achieved through basic, applied and development research aimed at discovering the new products, technological solutions, methods and techniques for business improvement, etc. We have 24 research centres and 10 laboratories. Educational activities at the Faculty are obtained through accredited study programs of engineering, at all three levels: - Bachelor academic studies, - Master academic studies and - Doctoral studies. Study programs are, by their structure and contents, purpose, objectives and outcomes (competencies of graduates), in accordance with modern world trends and with the state of academic education in the area of mechanical engineering at relevant EU institutions. BACHELOR STUDIES 1) Bachelor academic studies - Mechanical engineering Duration of studies: 3 years (6 semesters), 180 ECTS During registration for the fifth semester, the student selects one module out of eight offered: 1. Production engineering, 2. Mechanical structures and mechanization, 3. Motor vehicles and IC engines, 4. Energy and process engineering, 5. Applied mechanics and automatic control, 6. Industrial engineering, 7. Informatics in engineering and 8. Road traffic engineering. 2) Bachelor academic studies - Military-industrial engineering Duration of studies: 4 years (8 semesters), 240 ECTS 3) Bachelor academic studies - Automotive engineering Duration of studies: 3 years (6 semesters), 180 ECTS 4) Bachelor academic studies - Urban engineering Duration of studies: 4 years (8 semesters), 240 ECTS 5) Bachelor academic studies - Computer Science and Software Engineering Duration of studies: 4 years (8 semesters), 240 ECTS MASTER STUDIES 1) Master academic studies - Mechanical engineering Duration of studies: 2 years (4 semesters), 120 ECTS During registration, the student selects one module out of eight offered: 1. Production engineering, 2. Mechanical structures and mechanization, 3. Motor vehicles and IC engines, 4. Energy and process engineering, 5. Applied mechanics and automatic control, 6. Industrial engineering, 7. Informatics in engineering and 8. Road traffic engineering. 2) Master academic studies - Engineering management Duration of studies: 1 years (2 semesters), 60 ECTS 3) Master academic studies - Industrial engineering - Business information systems Duration of studies: 1 years (2 semesters), 60 ECTS 4) Master academic studies - Military-industrial engineering Duration of studies: 1 years (2 semesters), 60 ECTS 5) Master academic studies - Automotive engineering Duration of studies: 2 years (4 semesters), 60 ECTS 6) Master academic studies - Enviromental protection engineering Duration of studies: 1 years (2 semesters), 60 ECTS 7) Master academic studies - Urban engineering Duration of studies: 1 years (2 semesters), 60 ECTS PHD STUDIES Doctoral studies - Mechanical Engineering Duration of studies: 3 years (6 semesters), 180 ECTS Individual study program (the student selects courses as agreed with advisor) Doctoral studies - Industrial Engineering and Engineering management (in Serbian and in English language) Duration of studies: 3 years (6 semesters), 180 ECTS Individual study program (the student selects courses as agreed with advisor)
