A program orchestrated since 1998 by Teo Saavedra, the artistic direction of Nuits du Sud aims to highlight music from all walks of life, from all cultures. During the thirteen evenings of the festival, 26 groups follow one another on stage, whether internationally renowned, national or rising. A talent scout, Teo Saavedra also set up the Talents Nuits du Sud Cultural Space Leclerc competition seven years ago to ensure that young developing groups benefit from the influence of the Nuits du Sud and perform under professional conditions. A place Located about twenty kilometers from Nice, the Grand Jardin de Vence square has been transformed, every summer since 1998, into an open-air concert hall. Every weekend, from mid-July to mid-August, the heart of this charming town of 20,000 people beats to the rhythms of all music. Lined with restaurants, bars and ice cream parlors, all facing the big stage of Nuits du Sud, the Place du Grand Jardin welcomes festival-goers in a festive and friendly atmosphere. Accessible rates With rates ranging from 15 to 25 euros and free entry for children under 10, the festival is the cultural event with one of the most accessible entrance fees of the French Riviera. Despite a difficult economic context, Southern Nights rates have not increased over the past four years. A brave choice to keep the festival accessible to as many people as possible.
