Many years ago Guagnano had a heart that was composed of our grandfathers’ main passion; they were persevering vine-growers and wrote the most important pages of a story entitled “Negroamaro”. It is since 2002 and thanks to them that we, that is Gianvito, Carlo and Franco – those same vine-growers’ grandsons – have been undertaking (after saving our ancestors’ abandoned negroamaro vines) to write a new chapter of this long and fascinating story, whose title is “Feudi di Guagnano”; it underlines the indissoluble bond with our territory and our love for this land, which is mean and, at the same time, generous.
