Fiamma Holdings Berhad ("Fiamma") began its trading operations in a shophouse in Johor Bahru in 1979, under Fiamma Sdn Bhd, the maiden company of the Fiamma Group. With an initial staff of five, Fiamma began the distribution of the cooking range of electrical home appliances under the ELBA and FABER brand names. Despite its humble beginnings and small workforce, the company was big on ideas and growth plans. Fiamma expanded its activities to Kuala Lumpur (where its head office is based today) and Penang. Fiamma eventually expanded its distribution network throughout Malaysia. Today, Fiamma represents some of the major names in electrical home appliances, sanitary ware, bathroom accessories, home furniture, medical devices and healthcare products. Fiamma also ventured into the Property Development and Property Investment business. The first project in Kuala Lumpur, Menara Centara office suites in Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman, was completed in March 2015. The development in Taman Kota Jaya township in Kota Tinggi, Johor is ongoing. The development of Vida Heights, comprising 247 units of serviced apartment in Johor Bahru is scheduled for completion in the second half of 2016. The development of East Parc serviced apartments in Bandar Menjalara KL is currently ongoing and is expected to be completed in four years.
