Originally established in 1979 as Bredhurst Control Systems and later renamed Field Electronics, we have almost 40 years experience in all aspects of process Measurement, Control and Automation. We have a long history engineering innovative solutions to challenging problems for hundreds of customers over a diverse range of industrial sectors; our customers past and present include blue chip names from Aviation, Power Generation, Pharmaceuticals, Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, Steel and Aluminium production. Many of our projects require custom or bespoke hardware to be developed, we are experts at adapting our existing products or designing bespoke new hardware for low volume or 'one off' applications. Our Products Since the early 1980's we have designed and manufactured our own range of communicating I/O and intelligent Data Acquisition devices our particular specialty and strength is in precise measurement of universal analogue signals. To augment our product range broaden our capabilities and enhance our ability to offer a 'one stop' solution, we have established ourselves as expert partners for the following product lines; Hawk Measurement: Innovative non-contact Level, Flow and Proximity measurement products for problem solving in; Water and Wastewater, Mining, Quarrying, Aggregate handling and storage applications. CG Emotron: High quality motor control and protection products ranging from Shaft Power Motors through Motor Soft Start devices to Variable Frequency Drives (VFD). Yaskawa VIPA: High performance HMI, PLC and I/O products featuring SPEED7 chipsets with full SIEMENS S5 and S7 compatibility. Tascomp Prodigy: Versatile SCADA/HMI Software package engineered to meet the demands of industrial monitoring, control and automation applications.
