Founded by Martyn Bell in 1994, we pride ourselves at Fine Wood Designs on achieving a reputation of high quality craftsmanship with a focus firmly placed on the needs of the client . With over 20 years of cabinet-making and joinery experience, we pride ourselves in delivering craftsmanship of the highest quality; we use traditional skills, think creatively and pay meticulous attention to detail throughout each and every project. A skilled craftsman, Martyn is truly passionate about working with wood and has the breadth of expertise to advise on the types of wood best suited to the project as well as being creative with ideas and designing the ideal solution. Martyn is equally experienced at working on projects for contemporary homes as well as period properties or traditional-style homes and has extensive levels of knowledge for his clients to draw on. From bespoke kitchen units to hand-made storage units, from traditional sliding sash windows to beautifully crafted wooden doors, the natural beauty and character of wood combined with Martyn’s original designs makes every single project completely unique.
