First City Art Center is a hands-on community art center that engages the imagination, inspires creative exploration, and cultivates economic and cultural growth for the Gulf Coast region of Pensacola. FCAC offers art classes in a variety of mediums for all ages, including ceramics, glass, sculpture, painting, drawing, youth art programs, summer camp, field trips, mentorship and internship opportunities, and outreach programs, including a mobile glassblowing studio. Gallery 1060 is also on FCAC's campus, featuring an exhibition space and cooperative studio spaces for emerging and professional artists. FCAC is actively involved in bringing art, culture, and entertainment to the people of Pensacola and the Gulf Coast region. Every day, we achieve our mission while we work diligently toward our vision. We bring people together to learn from each other; in the creative process, we unlock profound accomplishments though our ongoing collaborative work in the arts.
