First United is an emergency shelter and service centre on the Downtown Eastside of Vancouver. First United honours the call to seek justice when we meet individual needs, advocate for social change, and provide sanctuary in the heart of the city. We support those experiencing homelessness, extreme poverty, and mental health and addictions issues when we provide basic amenities including food, shelter, and personal care supplies. We seek to transform the systems and beliefs that cause these social problems through our programs and projects focused on community engagement and dialogue. First United Inc, doing business as De La Fuente Cadillac, retails automobiles.
