Flatbed Tents Inc. is a custom manufacturer of high strength tents that mount on flat surfaces, such as flatbed trailers and truck beds. We have been in business since 2014. We are located in Indiana and all products are manufactured in the US. Our company's founding motivation was to give owners of flatbed trailers a way to get more use from their investment. We observed that trailers used to transport off road vehicles, motorcycles and construction equipment often sat unused once they reached their destination. Our mission is to provide environmentally friendly, simple and inexpensive alternatives for owners to maximize the value of their trailers. Based on outfitter tents used in remote locations, our tents are constructed from steel pipe/ fittings and heavy duty canvas to withstand extreme weather. We have a proprietary system for attaching the tent to the surface that ensures wind and water stay outside where they belong. Once on location the tents can be set up in under an hour to provide weatherproof accommodations, work space or storage. Each tent is custom designed and built to the customer's specifications and intended use. The more common uses include camping/ hunting base camp, on-site workspace, vending space, equipment/ supplies storage and use as a hunting blind for disabled hunters.
