Born in 2007, Alma Mater Ticinensis Foundation from Pavia has two founder partners: University of Pavia and Banca del Monte di Lombardia Foundation. Its mission is to promote, enhance and disseminate University of Pavia's knowledge. To this end the Foundation encourages the cooperation between the University and the social and economic community, endorses new entrepreneurship activities, facilitates the innovation spreading from the academic world to companies and to Public Administration, provides stimuli to the creation of international cooperations, promotes innovative research excellence. Alma Mater Ticinensis Foundation finds itself in a strategic position to act in synergy with the University of Pavia, with other Italian Universities and Foundations, with companies and PA, to enhance their cooperation. Its primary purpose is to assist the University pursuing the social, economic and cultural development of our country.
