Fort Houston makerspace is like a gym for the creative class, but instead of work out equipment, we have the tools, machines, space, and network you need to make things. Through our membership program, our space gives you access to private offices, shared coworking tables, a wood shop, and a metal shop. With over 7 years of experience, we've had over 250 small businesses launch through our communal fabrication space. If you've ever wanted to start a business or finish that DIY home project, a great way to get started is by taking one of our many classes in woodworking, metal working, jewelry, screen printing, and more. Through our fabrication referral program, it pays to become a Fort Houston member, as we are constantly recommending our makers for build outs of bars, restaurants, and retail spaces. We also have many small businesses with offices on our campus (with two more office spaces available). Renting an office allows you to have a membersip to our makerspace, a community shared space, a coffee shop, and of course your own office.
