Fort Worth Dental Assistant School is a hands on dental assisting training program. It is our main priority to prepare our students for a dental assisting career with minimal student loans and plenty of work experience. We teach in a dental office to promote active learning, which allows students to seamlessly flow from being a student to being an employee. Tuition is affordable, and we offer payment plans that require no credit check. Our Saturday classes even allow students to work during the week to help pay for school. Job placement services are also available upon graduation to assist with the transition from dental assisting school to a job. Dental assistants work with the dental team in many essential areas. Dental assistants are responsible for taking x-rays, doing dental impressions, pouring and trimming models, and assisting the dentist chair side. According to the US Bureau of labor statistics in May 2016, dental assistants make a median salary of $36,940 per year, or $17.76 per hour. Job openings are expected to increase between 2012 and 2022, making dental assisting a quickly growing field.
