Fortisblades is a company specialized in industrial razor blades for slitting film and foil. As films became stronger and tougher, we launched durable coated blades, because in the slitting process a clean cut is essential. The right razor blade decreases the friction and decreases the wrinkling problems. It’s as easy as that. This is why Fortisblades adds a high-density protective layer to the industrial coated blades. For specific cutting applications Fortisblades proposes Fortius blades: these are solid carbide micrograin blades. Ceramic blades have the same high performance, however are very brittle. Our industrial carbide blades have a bending capacity which makes them less fragile.
