Fostering to Inspire is an independent fostering agency looking to recruit and support remarkable foster carers who can provide stable and positive family environments for children and young people. We are working hard towards becoming accredited users of the Mockingbird Family Model because we recognise the importance of support and understanding for our valued and respected foster carers. We are committed to supporting and encouraging our fostered children and young people so they can recover from past trauma and abuse. At the same time, we are committed to supporting our foster carers so that they can provide safe and nurturing homes. Our team approach and our use of the Mockingbird Family Model mean that our foster carers make a difference. A real difference. Together, with our foster carers we support our children and young people to grow, develop skills and build their resilience. Everyone at Fostering to Inspire is dedicated and passionate about helping them achieve their potential whilst they move towards adulthood. One of our principal goals is to “make a difference”. We support our carers every step of the way to deliver a very high standard of care that meets the needs of some of the most vulnerable children in our society. We remunerate our carers with generous allowances that reflect the level of commitment and endeavour given to our children and young people. We recognise the importance of the child’s voice and we ensure our children and young people are involved and have a say in their care. We are an ethical agency who is concerned more about meeting the needs of children and young people rather than profitability.
