Fresh City is Canada's largest commercial city farm. We deliver organic, sustainably sourced produce, groceries & meals to thousands of Toronto area families. By bringing makers and eaters together, we are changing how people think about food. Founded in 2011, is a city farm and retailer of farm-fresh, organic produce, groceries, artisanal breads and chef-inspired prepared foods. We are big believers in vertical integration in delivering on our promise of freshness and convenience. We plant the seed, harvest the crop, cook and pack the batch and retail the meal through our online, bricks and mortar or wholesale channels. Our purpose is to provide a Better Life Through Food. Each day our kitchen makes locally and organically sourced meal kits, bread, pastries and delicious meals, salads, snacks and breakfasts from scratch. In late 2018 we acquired Mabel’s Bakery, a popular bakery in Toronto, producing artisan breads and pastries. Shortly after, in early 2019, we acquired The Healthy Butcher, a pioneer in organic and 100% grass-fed beef. We farm in Downsview Park as well as at Baka on Highway 427, and have eight retail locations across our three brands. Fresh City also delivers straight to our customers doors or to pick-up locations throughout the Greater Toronto Area.
