At Fresh Start we accept Medicaid, Medicare and commercial insurance plans, as well as individual payment options to assure patients receive affordable access to evidence-based opioid addiction treatment, non-opioid pain management and general health conditions in a professional medical practice setting. Opioid Addiction is a chronic brain disease and requires long-term treatment. Historically, our society has treated addiction and the misuse of drugs as symptoms of moral weakness, and our health care system has not given the same level of attention to substance use disorders (SUD) as it has to other chronic health conditions such as asthma and diabetes. SUD treatment in the United States remains largely segregated from the rest of health care and serves only a fraction of those in need of treatment. Fresh Start is different. At our health care centers all patients will receive equal and quality treatment regardless of condition, race, color, religion, creed, sex, sexual orientation, pregnancy and pregnancy related conditions, gender identity, national origin, ancestry, age, veteran status, disability, genetic information, military service, or other protected status.
