Gameforge has developed into one of the leading providers of online games in the western world. Headquartered at the Technology Park Karlsruhe, we are operating 20 games in more than 100 countries with over 450 million registered players. The Gameforge portfolio includes client-based massively multiplayer online games (MMOGs) like AION, TERA and Metin2 as well as titles like the action Anime RPG SoulWorker. Popular browser-based games such as OGame or Ikariam complete the offering. It all started back in 2002, when our CEO and founder Alexander Rösner programmed and released Gameforge’s first game: OGame! The space simulation is now in its 16th successful year on the market and enjoyed by millions of fans worldwide. OGame formed not only the foundation stone for Gameforge’s history but also became part of the pioneering journey of a new market segment, today known as ‘Free-to-play’.
