Garrandale has over forty years’ experience in engineering solutions for a wide range of industries, especially the Rail Industry. Garrandale builds to print, manufactures, engineers, designs, supplies, installs and now innovates too. Recently moved to a new, purpose built manufacturing plant in Derby, Garrandale is an established manufacturer of bespoke products for onboard rolling stock, such as Cab Fronts, Antennae and Controlled Emission Tanks (CETs) and for Jigs, Fixtures, Tooling and Specialist Components, necessary in the assembly and manufacture of rolling stock. As manufacturers of CETs for rolling stock, and designers and installers of the specialist equipment to remove toilet waste in depots, Garrandale has become expert in the logistical problems posed by rolling stock toilet systems. This specialist knowledge has given birth to “Cleatrak”, a first of a kind (FOAK) technology designed in collaboration with Cranfield University, a Postgraduate Centre of Excellence, which will put an end to the current costly and time consuming regime around the operability of train toilets. Garrandale’s back catalogue in designing and engineering solutions for a wide range of other industries is less well known but no less impressive. The Trans Siberian Pipeline, the Ariane Space Rocket and the Cern Particle Generator are all part of our sales history. Garrandale Ltd. operates as professional engineering services providers. The Company provides train wash, fuelling & tube, robotic welding, handling equipment, protective coating, and fabrication services.
