Greiner Vibrograf was founded in 1938 by Rudolf Greiner in Langenthal, Switzerland. Formerly known as Greiner Electronics, since then we have been developing and producing a large variety of watch testing equipment and for a short time (1970-1980) blood analyzing technology. In the 1960ies and 70ies we started to produce the famous Balance-O-Matic, Class-O-Matic (Omegametric) and Spiromatic and therewith newly invented the industrial watch production specialized on high-precision measuring of balance-wheels and hairsprings (frequency, moment of inertia, torque). After few acquisitions the company name in 1990 changed to Greiner Vibrograf AG and since we are working together in a joint venture with Helmut Klein GmbH in Germany. Nowadays we are still manufacturer of for watch testing equipment and industrial applications, such as water proof testers, demagnetizers, timing machines, polishing and lapping machines, industrial poising for balance-wheels, classifying of hairsprings/balance wheels and oscillator frequency measuring.
