Grimsby Ice Rink was taken over from the council in September 2017, by a community group and is now a registered charity. We fought hard to keep the provision of ice sports in the area, with being the only rink in the whole of Lincolnshire. We are the home of 4 ice hockey teams Redwings, Lightnings, Stormers and Ice Bears, and also the home of Grimsby Ice Skating Academy. We have 5 coaches based at our rink, who offer figure skating lessons and learn to skate courses. We also offer reduced price sessions for schools, tots sessions, private parties. There is something for everyone.
