HART for Animals is an animal welfare nonprofit organization in Western Maryland. Its mission is to save the lives of homeless cats and dogs through rescue and transport, sheltering and adoption, and low-cost spay/neuter surgeries. The HART Animal Center contains the Animal Adoption Wing where animals are housed until adopted, a full-service veterinary clinic open to the general public, a pet hotel, and a groomer.
