Using Hardy blades, they know they can; our blades, made using carefully selected high grade steel, are designed to get the very highest quality finish and yield in the production of leather, as efficiently as possible. MADE IN LIVERPOOL, UK Today, our factory is moments from the historic docks of Liverpool, UK. A city defined by its warmth, resilience and a proud manufacturing history, this location also allows us to effectively manage our exports, which account for 95% of our sales. ACQUISITION BY ARKOTE In 2015, Hardy was acquired by renowned Sheffield knife makers, Arkote Ltd. With a vision to ensure that we continue to lead the way, this ownership is consolidating a reputation garnered over more than a century, and driving our evolution, with a focus on innovative technologies and sustainable manufacturing. EXPERTS FOR MORE THAN 160 YEARS There are plenty of ways to describe the company we are today – committed, passionate, enduring and expert – but we are happy to let precision be what we’re best known for.
