History • Locally owned and operated since 1989 • Awarded The Hearing Review Best of Hearing Healthcare Professionals in 2011 & 2012 • The only Audigy Certified practice in the Northland Our Doctors - Patients are seen by licensed/Board Certified Doctors of Audiology • Dr. John Voss has been a practicing audiology since 1979 • Dr. Chad Kittleson received his Au.D. in May of 2012 • Dr. Denise Hove (in Grand Rapids) has been practicing audiology since 1996 Services • Hearing evaluations from five years of age through adulthood o Appointments are conducted with the help of e-Patient, an all-digital and interactive platform that provides visual and educational support to the evaluation and counseling process • Hearing technology recommendations and fittings o Once fit with hearing aids, most patients are seen at least 3-4 times during our 75 day adjustment period to make sure our patients are finding success • Device cleanings and diagnostic services performed on a regular basis for optimum performance • Recommendations for tinnitus management, assisted listening devices, and accessories for TV, Bluetooth connectivity, and telephone use • Patient advocacy and education – help patient develop awareness and management of difficult listening situations/scenarios and how to find greater success in communicating • Community outreach – Educating staff and family at local assisted living homes on proper hearing device use and effective communication strategies.
