Hilltop House is a nonprofit corporation which owns a 124-unit apartment building in Seattle, Washington. It is an equal opportunity facility that provides housing to low-income individuals 62 years of age and older. Residency is open to all qualified, eligible persons without regard to race, color, creed, national origin, handicap status, religion, familial status, political persuasion, sex or sexual preference. Hilltop House was established with two goals in mind - to provide affordable housing for individuals of retirement age while servicing a healthy and exuberant community full of activities and friendships. Our 124-unit, equal opportunity facility provides housing subsidies through the Department of Housing and Urban Development's Section 202 Supportive Housing for the Elderly program and through Seattle Housing Authority. Subsidized rent is income-based, Hilltop also offers a few market-based apartments.
